I like the wingspread. I am wondering whether some piece from the fish is flung and is appearing on the top right corner.

Nice. The fish resembles a guided bomb under the wings of a fighter-bomber. As observed by ShrI Sabyasachi, I also feel that the flying part is a portion of the gill (or flesh) of the carp. Thanks for sharing. SaktiWild

I've once seen Osprey diving on a very short interval in water to catch fish and failed in every dive , this is very tired some activity. They are indeed a big bird and need lot of power and energy to go back into the air with wet feathers. Life in wild is indeed hard and harsh , hence I can imagine how precious this fish is for this osprey. Loved the spread wings here. TFS

Lovely wing spread and eye contact. The big catch is a bonus. Seeing this huge raptor hunting for fish would be a rare treat. Thanks for sharing.
