    Nice one. Where was this shot?

    It is always tough to get the head covered by depth of field in this position. The combination of cropped image and sharpening and higher contrast helps in giving the perception of sharpness. So in these situations I would prefer to avoid handholding and use a lower shutter speed and narrow aperture. The thorns appear at the edge of the left frame. So avoiding those would strengthen the image. The whites at the bottom of the frame have got overexposed. overall a nice image. Thanks for sharing.
