    Default first record of male lesser florican ...sorry for bad image through handicam

    This is possible just because of the help of 'Phasepardhi' (Traditional Hunting tribe) friend 'Himmat Pawar' we both sighted few LF females but this monsoon we got this beautiful male in breeding plumage. we hope we can capture display soon......and also protect nests of this rare birds.....with the help of my 'Phasepardhi' friends

    That is a nice record shot. I have heard of this Phasepardhi people, it would be good to know that with thier help you could work to protect these birds.

    Do keep us posted on the details and upload if you are able to get any more images.

    this is gr8 Kaustubh, have seen this image earlier on INW. sighting and documenting will defintely help. Hope you will get good support from Phasepardhi.

    Please mention the date and the place so that it can serve as a record. Lot of our wildplaces are being takenover by industries or for other purposes due to lack of documentation.
