Is this Wooly necked stork. i found perched on top of Semal tree in My village Larhota /Hathras on 10.5.16. Please help me to identify whether it belongs to Race Episcopus found in India.

Yes I think it is Wooly necked stork, also called as 'White-necked Stork'. Good sighting. Is there a water body close by in that area? Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for comment. no water body in the area only farm fields with no crops due to summer in the area. not often seen in the area.

Nice sighting. Did you see only one or more? A wider composition with more space on our left would have been better. Thanks for sharing.
