    Default Bijlee tigress Ranthambore

    Ramthambore national park zone 4, 25th June 16, Canon 7D II, sigma 120-300, F2.8, 1/200 @ 135 mm, little crop, iso 100 Hand held.

We spend 10-15 mnts with her and she did not move at all. was enjoying the bath in the heat, she looked well feed.

I am still struggling to handle my heavy 120-300 sigma to have sharp images.

Why use 135mm and then crop later when you have a zoom lens covering upto 300mm?

Your shutter speed was 1/200. You can have used a higher ISO to get higher shutter speed. For example Using ISO 200 would have given you 1/400 shutter speed and ISO 400 would have given you 1/800 shutter speed. Check for yourself at what shutter speed you can comfortably handhold your lens.

Use of beanbag or monopod helps. Strengthening arms and following correct handholding techniques also help a lot.

    Cheers,

Nice to see her resting in the water. The alert look is nice. Thanks for sharing.
