    Default The fest

These Black headed gulls flock in large numbers in the Sangam of the holy river Ganga in Allahabad. As tourists boat in the water the gulls come very close expecting some food from the tourists which they are informed beforehand. I also took a packet of fried corn for these birds. They were very happy with the fried corns and I was happier clicking my shutter.

Welcome to Indiawilds . Nice first post. There is a boat that can be seen behind and some gulls feeding there too. I think with so many tourists taking boat rides, it would be leading to a good business for the fried corn sellers . I don't support this feeding to wild birds/animals . I have observed that in lot of places, especially where there are boat rides. You could have tried zooming for more close up of the birds. Look forward to more. Thanks for sharing.
