    Default Ashy Woodswallow

Photographed in Sunderbans May 2016 from a launch. Saw a few of them perched on a branch high up on the tree.

    Canon 80D, Canon 100-400mm L I USM lens + 1.4x TC, f8, 1/640, 560mm, ISO 400, hand held

    Comments and critiques welcome.

It was against the light but the details have come out well. I think there were six or seven of them while clicking it. Dada my remember the area where we sighted it.

Two names mixed up here - this is an ashy woodswallow. Nice shot. I don't mind the backlight.

Nice image. Details are very good considering backlight condition. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful composition and capture, although a very tough condition when background is so bright.A always find these birds perching on electric wires, seeing them for the first time on a natural perch.TFS
