In this part of India, Jackals sightings are almost nil, I have see only once in Bidar since I started Wildlife photography. You had a good run of luck to see it from close quarters. thanks for sharing.

I remember this shot of yours. On January this year I had also stayed in the same place. Unfortunately couldn't find the jackals.
