    Default Leopard Contemplating a Climb up!

    This Leopard at Kabini made a wonderful show and it was a memorable one.It climbed this branch and was thinking of climbing still further.But eventually it didint and climbed down.

    The image looks soft, perhaps because of the low shutter speed. When you are using a tripod and low shutter speed, may be you can also do mirror lock up. That takes care of the vibration due to the mirror slap. Did you sight this in the morning or evening? How much of a crop is this? Thanks for sharing.

    Lovely sighting of a big male tiger in the clear. Agree about the shutter speed. Thanks for sharing.

    Thanks for the comments Mrudulji and Sabyaji....This is a full frame image.I have never tried Mirror lock up!But would definitely try it out next time

    We saw this Leopard during morning safari and around 8AM.
