Default Letting the hair down, Rapunzel style

    ID: Juv cricket?

Came across this interesting sight where, atleast for a moment, was confused as for what was this long stands of hair doing on the tip of a branch. Only on close observation, I realized it was some juvenile insect perched right at the edge of the broken branch of a tree and letting off its antenna like the Rapunzel's hair. Had tried out a variety of close up shots but felt showing a slightly broader frame might help understand/ describe the unique behavior of this beautifully green insect

Interesting. Was it trying to catch something? I think the DoF is not covering the insect. Seems the light was bad so the shutter speed is less. Maybe using a higher ISO and narrower aperture would have helped. Experts please help with the id. Thanks for sharing.
