    Default Flamboyant Muntjac of Manas

    Indian muntjac.....barking deer from Manas.

The shining coat and freshness in her eyes is amazing, observed that Manas wildlife has that typical extra freshness....she stood for maybe two or three seconds to give me an eye to eye stare and I utilized that moment to capture

The barking deer is against the light and the bright road as well as the reflection of the Sun from its back takes away the attention from its eyes. There is no way one can change the angle in such situations. Is this the only time you sighted this species in Manas? Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,

A very shy species. Good to sight it in the open and directly looking towards you. Wish the lighting conditions were better. Thanks for sharing.
