I was thrilled to see these denizens of death grace the Kanha skyscape . As I watched two more eagles joined these two.Nikon 7100-200-500 ISO 500 F/7.1 1/2000s early morning march 2017 Kanha.

Congrats on sighting two of a critically endangered species. They are rays of hope, of nature's rejuvenation (though may be illusionary). This is one of the dreams that I need to fulfill before the Reaper comes knocking. Thanks for sharing.

Nice sighting. I feel a rectangular framing with some more space on the left would have strengthened the composition further. Thanks for sharing.

There was a time when we used to sight vultures around the villages and in the outskirts of towns. I have seen many vultures in the banks of the river Kathajodi and Mahanadi. These days, even dead cattle are crushed to create chicken feed. Whatever little edible things they find is snatched away from them by street dogs. It is tough to be a vulture these days. So this is a very welcome sight. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,
