This raptor can be easily found in somewhat larger water bodies such as lakes, rivers, swamps etc for fishes. And hence, the name. It also feeds on reptiles and minuscule mammals as well.

This image was taken in one of the buffer zones in Tadoba.

This image with a dramatic sky would have looked even better. At the moment the sky is bland, so reducing the sky in the composition would be better.

Lowering the camera would have resulted in different point of view with the eagle appearing high up. The ibis is on the left of the frame. It would have been very nice if the ibis would have been on the right. That would have also forced our attention to the ground due to the white colour of the ibis. At the moment the ibis is on the left and behind the tree the eagle is perched. So I agree with Mrudul that less space on the left would have been better.

In this image you have used a 1/3200 shutter speed. That was not required. Instead, narrowing the aperture from f5.6 to f9/f11 would have been better in ensuring a higher depth of field. Thanks for sharing.
