    Default Scorpion under UV-light

All scorpions fluoresce under ultraviolet light, such as an electric black light or natural moonlight.
The blue-green glow comes from a substance found in the hyaline layer, a very thin but super tough coating in a part of the scorpion's exoskeleton called the cuticle
    Canon EOS 7D , Canon 100mm f/2.8 L USM , 1/1000 , 1/250 , no flash only UV-light used , Handheld.

Nice image. What is the bluish colour seen below it? Where was this photographed? Thanks for sharing.

Mrudul Ji , the bluish colour is a rock below. Took this image at EC = -1.0 hence surrounding area is totally black but wherever the UV-light was falling the rock was showing blueish effect. Controlled UV-light was used to high lightened the scorpion only.
