    Default Jungle Cat

As I was returning from a lake side after spending good half day without much interesting snap, I saw this animal in the fields. It was not looking like a normal cat, I aimed my camera and made a sound to get a view of this guy and bang I caught him on my gun. Was so thrilled to notice that it is the Jungle Cat, as it was late evening could not capture much of action, however the day ended with this superb catch

Lovely sighting. Nice that you could get a eye contact. Please post your equipment and EXIF detials to help in commenting. Is this a crop? How are you post processing the images? Thanks for sharing.

I think the high ISO and large crop has taken away details. Nevertheless, the processing can be better. The blacks in the hind leg has lost detail. There as supposed to be black stripes on the leg. At the moment it appears to be completely black. It is also difficult to make out if there is a tuft of hair on top of the ear. They are often found near wetlands. So it appears that there would be some place for it to hide near the lake.
