    One of the most common reptiles along the Nagla trail, these beauties prefer to keep away from harms-way, especially from humans and the best line of defense is to sneak under crevices of rocks or, in this case, the dry carpet, consisting of the fallen leaves, of the trail.

    Nice spotting. Quite difficult to sight through the leaves and the branches. I think a rectangular composition would have been better than the present square one. Wish there was some light on the eye. I had sighted same species in Airoli. Thanks for sharing.
