    Default The monsoon star burst

    ID: yellow ground star

A very common sight along the trail during the Premonsoon session. This beautiful flower had just started blossoming in hug numbers in and along the trail, converting the dried terrain into a colourful one with shades of green and yellow. For a change I tried capturing the beauty along with the surrounding, a simple habitat shot of one of the many blooms. This particular one had popped right out of the carpet of dried leaves and it had the bloom in varying phases.

Start of new life. The jungle is fully transformed after the monsoons. The bright yellow colour stands out nicely against the dark, brown background. Thanks for sharing.

Nice one. I am not sure if the critical focus is on the flowers. The composition shows the way nature is. Did you click a vertical? Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,
