    Default Wild and Picturesque Forest

Calls of the birds, insects and far away alarm call of sambar deer confirming predator on prowl, that is about a beautiful forest called Bandhavgarh.

Nice forest cover. You took this photograph from the Bandhavgarh fort? I like the grassland landscape in Bandhavgrah. Had a amazing sighting of a tigress for 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the evening there . How is the tourist situation there, is it very crowded? Thanks for sharing.

Dear Mrudul Madame, This picture was shot from the gufas just below seshshaiya statue, from there the path to the fort begins. This season sighting was fabulous. There is no end to the tourist, good and bad.

I like the denser forest cover visible in this image. There is a slight green colour cast in this image. I like the Sheshsaiya place. In the 1990s, hardly any visitor used to go to that side. These days, the tourism pressure in bandhavgarh is enormous. The dust from the vehicles simply chokes my nose and lungs. So I have stopped visiting the place.

    Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi

Dear Sabyasachi, I cannot agree more, there is ascending trend in unaware and rowdy tourism, but will blame more to the drivers and guides who encourage such things. I have a feeling that this year we may see pressure in tourism due to loss of jobs in various sector
