    Default The Aggressive One

Gaur in Kanha. This bull remained to see us off while the rest of his herd disappeared in the forest beyond. Nikon 750+70-200 ISO 220 F/2.8 1/200s late evening march 2017.

Nice to see this Gaur. Adult bulls standing over six feet tall (at the shoulder), this majestic animal of our forests often don't get adequate attention from our tourists. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,

Generally these herbivores move off on the appearance of vehicles but this one may have been different just as humans possess different natures and may have taken exception to our clicking cameras.

Nice environmental composition. He looks relaxed, since your gypsy left the place . I feel slight less space on the left before the tree and more on the right would have strengthened the composition further. Thanks for sharing.

Due to his light colour he is yet just a young bull.
