ID: Six spotted tiger beetle
While returning from the trail, and as the rains kicked in, witnessed a tiger beetle running and flying few metres in front of us. Eventually it spotted another tiger beetle and, initially, it seemed to attack it, until it caught it by the back. But the one that it had caught started defending itself by trying its best to shake off the aggressor. What seemed like an attack eventually turned out to be a copulation activity, with the reproductive organ visible in the frame(orange coloured)
