It was good that you were able to sight it atleast lying down as the vegetation had dried up. These days due to the rains the vegetation (lantana) is fully grown and even if the tiger is sitting close to the gypsy, you cannot sight it.
I feel the shutter speed was a bit low, so using a higher ISO would have helped to get more details. Thanks for sharing.

Agree with Mrudul's observations. Infact this image shows how a predator can easily hide in small depressions or behind small logs etc. Thanks for sharing.
