Spotted this beauty getting set for the night, taking refuge under the leaf of the garden plant. Attempted several frames to get a good view, but the location and the angle made it difficult to capture, eventually ended up with this frame, where the external flash was positioned right above the leaf, resulting in providing the indirect illumination of the subject

I had to look at the image closely to understand how it was taken . So it is upside down? Did you try a wider frame? I feel a vertical composition showing more of the butterfly would also have worked. Thanks for sharing.
