This Trickster from Indian Folklore was resting peacefully and our safari jeep at a distance didn't bother him much!

Then we went on our way leaving the Jackal alone in search of Lions!But the Lions did not show up!

Nice sighting. It looks quite healthy. Its good that you got the eyes in clear through the leaves in the foreground. Slight more space at the top and around would strengthen the composition further. Thanks for sharing.
