    Default The emerging King

    ID: Common Nawab

Frame of a freshly emerged Common Nawab butterfly. Since the beauty had just emerged it was trying to get ready and energized by the pumping of the fluids to its delicate wings and sun basking to warm itself up. Probably the best moment to capture the beauty as it is in the freshest of its form and would be kaput in the same position.

    EXIF:
    Canon 550D
    Canon 100mm macro
    F/4.5
    Shutterspeed 1/100
    ISO 400
    Handheld, No flash fired

Great you could capture this moment. The vertical composition looks good. I think there are some loss of details. Is this a crop? Thanks for sharing.

The loss in detail is, to some extent, due to the lower shutterspeed and my body motions. Wanted a brighter and clean background so couldnt fire the flash as even in the lowest power the background became dark, I guess thats the reason for the loss in details. This isnt that high of a crop, may be just 10-15% reduction in size
