    Default The hot king

    ID: Tawny Rajah

One of the most difficult subject to capture, especially when the Mid day is fast approaching, this mighty beauty kept us on our toes, eye on the view finder and fingers on the trigger to get a good shot of it. After struggling for quite a lot of time, eventually we started getting adjusted to the swift action and motion and finally ended up with a few frames, one of them being this one where the partially opened wings and the sunlight ended up getting a unique look of the wings of the mighty king. This was one of the momentary stop the butterfly took, probably to survey the terrain.

Nice. Your efforts and patience paid off. The light is harsh as you said it was mid-day, but liked the colours of the wings and the low angle. Thanks for sharing.
