Default The macro off the sea

ID: Sea Anemone and some suspension

A close up shot of a sea anemone, one of the beauty from a colony of anemones that had covered a particular water locks amongst the rocky terrain. There seemed to be some suspended matter, almost tiny thread like, that had covered almost whole of the water in that area.

Liked the composition. The different shades of green and yellow along with the light add to the composition. The bubbles look nice. Is the image a bit soft? Not sure. Maybe using a higher shutter speed would have helped. Thanks for sharing.

The water seems to be dirty. Your composition is aimed at highlighting the suspended particles. I wonder if some kind of dredging had happened close by.

Sabyasachi Sir, the anemone, rather the colony of it, was in a water lock formed between rock crevices, due to low tide.
The whole water seemed murky and only on magnification on the frame could see these strand like suspension.
