    Default Monitor Lizard

I shot this in Bandipur last month, the lizard was lying lazy and it looked liked it had a heavy meal.

Sabyasachi is this the same lizard that you photographed recently

I think we had seen a monitor lizard in a similar rock in July. Bibhav and Mrudul had posted. However, I don't think it is the same one.

Your EXIF details are: ISO 400, f5.6, 1/640. In this case a narrow aperture ie. f8 or higher would have been good. f8 would have brought down the shutter speed to 1/320 second and would have been better.

Nice image. The head turn is interesting. I think there are some dark areas in the image, you can recover them. A narrow aperture would haev helped to get the head in focus as well.

    Keep posting..

Agree with the above comments... The narrower aperture would have brought the head in focus too. The stone highlights can be toned down a bit...
