    Default The hands up moment

    ID: ID Help appreciated

Came across this really tiny spider, almost seemed like mimicking the tiny red/yellow ants, but it didnt try exactly blending in and rather kept the front limbs up in the air and kept moving cautiously along the branch. The spider was just 3-4 mm and though it kept moving along running through the ants, it stopped at this particular position and hardly moved for the next 5mins(atleast the time that I spent framing it)

Interesting. Looks slightly soft to me. Is this a large crop? Have you tried using extension tubes? Thanks for sharing.

Yeah, had to crop it down by 40%.
I used to use Extension tubes, but later I realized I loose ample amount of light, and also its difficult to instantaneous shift from normal macro to extension tube macro, felt it much easier with Raynox, though at the loss of details
