    Default The young explorer

Came across the interesting sight while exploring the tiny creatures of the trail. The distance from where I was observing the kid, with the tall tree, gave a very unique perspective and scale, so tried framing the sight with the, already installed, macro lens.

    Canon 100mm macro
    F/2.8
    Shutterspeed 1/640

I liked the vertical framing, it gives a nice perspective of the tall tree and the small boy. The dense vegetation with the different colours add to the composition. Its nice to see this small boy wandering in nature . Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.

Though I would prefer images without people, this image conveys a different meaning. It shows our dependency on nature as well as the awe in which kids look at nature. Wish that sense of awe about the natural world can be nurtured so that when kids grow up they continue to value nature and become protectors instead of mindless exploiters and consumers.
