Just yesterday night I was reading about the Langurs in Manas in the book 'Wildlife of India' by E.P.GEE .

The monochrome treatment captures the dry branches of the tree and the silhoutee of the langur nicely . The mid air pose of the langur nicley captured. Could you observe them closely? Thanks for sharing.

Nice one. I would crop a bit from the top. Cropping from the bottom also works. I would have loved to use one stop narrow aperture. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Mrudul ji.. Yes I have observed Capped and Golden Langur in Manas area... I may post some of their close shot.. presently working on Broadbills of Manas.... it will take one year more to document their breeding biology...
@Sabyasachi da... I have some more horizontal frame also.... One help is needed from you.. I can't open .ORF file of my Olympus camera images through CS5. whal to do.

I also have a JPEG file with .ORF RAW file. OK I will send it.

I could open the raw image. I cropped a bit from top and bottom and left from the raw image. This helped in removing the bright sun from top and the langur is more to the top left corner than centre.

It is fantastic. More horizontal frame is looking better. The yellow colour of "oxy" flower has come out. "oxy" is the local Assamese language. I don't know the Latin name of that tree. Those flowers are eaten by capped langur in March April and then the fruits are eaten by hornbills. This langur is joining it's troup.
I have failed to open ORF files in cs5. How could I open. Thank you very much dada for your time. ��
