    Default The thorny Hulk

    ID: Lynx spider

Came across this mighty beauty resting on a palm like plant's dried leaf. The huge arthropod seemed to be either resting or waiting to catch a prey, and hardly moved from this position. The light coloured streaks seemed to blend well with the dried foliage and those striking vibrant design on the back drew our attention towards it.

Agree it stands out nicely against the light coloured stalks. Good details. The vertical composition looks good and helps to capture it fully. Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.

This needed a bit more brightness. The spider's limbs are dark. So if you underexpose it, then the details will be very less. This image reminded me of our shoot in Thane Creek. Getting full frame composition for video was not an easy task. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,
