    Default The gravity defying one

    ID: Jumping spider/Salticidae

A curious jumping spider that was seen traversing the garden area, probably on a look out for the prey, this one was too comfortably moving, along the wooden piece, upside down without any issue and always kept a look out on the downward direction, mostly to keep an eye on a tasty meal moving along the flower bed, over which the wooden piece was hanging.

Nice, gives a different perspective. Is the AF point locked on the wooden piece on the top? I feel the highlights are slightly distracting. Thanks for sharing.

Your images with the Raynox are always soft. When the background is dark, our eyes automatically focus on the bright element which is the spider here. However, when the bright element is soft, then the image doesn't work.
