    Default Holding the head high

    ID: Calotes

One of the male calotes, post the aggressive minutes long fight with the other male, probably for the smaller sized female that was at the base of the tree, keeping a curious look out for the other male that moved off the trail to avoid any further attack. It was interesting to see how the males kept changing their colours, from a well camouflaged earthy palate to the bright red and black mix, almost making me confuse if these where the same that started off the fight.

Liked the low angle. I know you avoid using an higher ISO, but a narrower aperture would have been nice to get more details. Thanks for sharing.

With 80D you can use a slightly higher ISO. The focus is more on the leaf. From this angle it is very difficult as most of the subject will anyway be out of focus at f5.6. If head would have been turned completely to the left then it would have been better. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,
