Such a mix of colours . Nice perch and eye contact. There seems to be some slight highlights on the twigs, you can recover the details in post processing. Just a bit less space on the left and a bit more on the right, would have been nice for a more off-centered composition. Thanks for sharing.
While clicking purple sunbirds, it is better to wait as these birds remain momentarily still before resuming their activities at a frenetic pace. Click during that moment and you will get sharp image even at less shutter speed. Is this a large crop? Thanks for sharing.

I was shooting in burst mode. I think it's a 20% crop. I clicked many photos of this specimen in different positions and some on flowers too. I found this pic most attractive as it shows full body and all colours. Also at this instance it was the most stationery@ 2 sec or so. ISO: 3200
