Having a monstrous Breakfast

ID: Orb weaver(Araneidae) with, probably, Crimson Dragonfly

While traversing towards the N.I.C. of SGNP, was keeping a lookout for some interesting sighting and just along the pathway there was this massive web, spanning between two Ashoka trees, housing this mighty spider which was busy devouring on the dragonfly, which it had caught just a moment before. It seems the location was really fruitful as the web already had a couple of beetles that had already been consumed.

Big catch. The patterns formed by the hair on the spider's body are interesting. Wish the light was better. Thanks for sharing.
