    Default A 'gorgeous' stinger

    ID: Scorpionfly(female?)

While we were busy looking out for some interesting subjects from the macro world, we came across a particular spot where there were these beauties in really high numbers. Being spotted in abundance, I assumed it would be an easy task to frame these beauties, but to my disappointment they all seemed too active and kept on flying off the moment we went close to it. Finally disappointed with it, I decided to go ahead and frame some other interesting sighting, thats when this beauty sat just a few feet away from me, and luckily this time it was cooperative and rather seemed very gorgeous, the resultant being this frame.

Lovely frame. Loved the eye contact and the catchlight on the eye. Good details. I think this incident tells you that, if you don't get something, you can let it go and then in due time you will get the right opportunity and get more than what you wished for . Thanks for sharing.

Several times I have looked at this image. I am not sure why the image looks a bit soft. The angle is interesting and the overall details are there. However, I would have liked it a bit sharper. Better luck next time. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,
