Default Owl Moth of Yeoor Hills

    Dear Friends,

Yeoor never ceases to present its varied fauna. Almost , every time, get to see a species in its full glory.

This time it was an Owl Moth, Erebus macrops, is a species of moth of the family Erebidae. The wingspan of this specimen was about 5 inches. Quite big size for a moth..

Well camouflaged on a large tree trunk , turned out to be co-operative subject.

    Canon 550D, Tamron 90mm VC, f/8, Tv :1/60, ISO :400 , Full Frame, PP in LR 5.7.

Hope you like & enjoy it.

    Regards/ Anil Kumar Verma

Beautiful details and colours. The colours and textures on the bark also add to the composition. Nicely captured. Look forward to more from Yeoor. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely. Mesmerising. If the common men and women see such beautiful creatures, then perhaps they will fall in love and hopefully start working to save these beautiful creations of God. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,
