    Default Chilika Pintail flight

Another image from Chilika Lake. Pintail in flight. Anas acuta

Canon 1D Mark IV, 800mm, f8. Full frame image.

There are many unprocessed images from Chilika. I had shot this in mangalajodi part of Chilika. Dug up all the images for the #SaveChilika campaign (for details please check https://www.indiawilds.com/diary/ind...10-issue-viii/ ).

Wing-tips terminating in finger-like spread of the outer primaries- technically the slotted-wing device brilliantly captured. Thanks for sharing. SaktiWild

Lovely take-off pose photographed. The eye is sharp. Hopefully the authorities will consider not to go ahead with the sea plane service. Thanks for sharing.

Nice picture of the bird in flight, Sabyasachi. The beak looks transparent in the angle its been shot. Not sure if the colors of this bird are so mild or you have toned them down a bit. Thanks for sharing.
