    Default Under the Jamun Tree

During the month of june this Tiger sought respite from the heat by partially immersing himself in a muddy stream under a bower of jamun trees in Bandhavgargh..Nikon850+150-600 FL360mm,f/8,1/60s,ISO 4000. it was very late and the light was very low.

Looks cool. This is much better than watching a tiger on the road. The branches and leaves provide enough shade without covering its eyes. The lower part of the frame is much brighter. So less space at the bottom and more at the top may have been more interesting. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi

I just loved the way the leaves are framings its head. Looks like a big male tiger. Its good that you used a high ISO with a narrower aperture to get more details. Lovely sighting. How long was it? In which zone? Thanks for sharing.

What a beautiful place to shelter off... nicely discovered Shyamalaji. At times with absolute stillness the tiger ambushes an unsuspecting prey wandering nearby. Thanks for sharing.
