    Default Brown Fish owl

Kabini, Aug 2018. 1/250s ISO2800, F/8 Nikon850+150-600mm. Late evening, the sky was overcast and a light drizzle was acting spoilsport.

Nice image. Large round eyes, square head, claws for grasping and striking prey well captured. Thanks for sharing. SaktiWild

I love its eyes. The sharp claws have come out well. I remember seeing this species in Kabini in an overhead branch near the lake. I had clicked a closeup but didn't get a wider one. I would love to see a wider composition without cropping which would have also give a good idea of its habitat. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,

The tilted head pose looks nice. The clean perch helps to see it clearly. I feel a slight more space on the right would have strengthened the composition further. Thanks for sharing.
