    Default The gorgeous, spiky monster

ID: Lynx spider(Specific id help appreciated)

One of the most beautiful form of Lynx spider, this mammoth, perched on a plant, initially seemed too lethargic, but suddenly almost hopped off the leaf, but again became lethargic and rather cooperated with my intrusion into its space. The predator probably was waiting for some sunshine or may be a prey looking for the sunshine, and hence preferred to stay on the leaf itself.

    EXIF:
    Canon 80D
    Canon 100mm macro+ Raynox
    F/18
    Shutterspeed 1/125
    ISO 400
    Handheld, external flash fired

Good details on the eyes and the head. It helps if the subject is steady, else it is very difficult to focus and compose on these tiny beauties. Thanks for sharing.
