Default Innocent Eyes_ A Bonnet Macaque

    Dear Friends ,

This image was made about a month back. Still getting familiarized with my Tamron 100-400m , its capabilities & limitations.

Very near to our home , in foothills of Yeoor range, there is a lake , known as Upvan Lake. It would have been earlier part of jungle, but now slowly getting encroached upon for commercial & so-called cultural activities. Used to be very peaceful place, but getting crowded now.

Anyway, it's one of favorite places for morning walkers. And during one of my morning walks, carried camera along & a family of Bonnet Macaques was seen scavenging on leftover food by people & from the dust-bin. This female was sitting quietly little away from the group & allowed a close up.

EXIF : Canon 550D, Tamron 100-400 mm, FL : 325mm, f/8, Tv: 1/320, ISO: 3200, Full Frame, Natural Back Light, PP in LR 5.7

Hope you like & enjoy it.

    Regards/ Anil Kumar Verma

Loved the eyes. Good details. They give very interesting poses/expressions. Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.

The eyes have come out well. They lead a tough life. Most of the fruit trees are gone and they have to find food from human habitations. At times scavenging is easy as they know about the wasteful nature of human beings. Our behaviour negatively impacts the behaviour of other species. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,
