    Default Munnar Elephants-2

    This is the widest I could get of these elephants at Munnar.I had the 18-55 but did not bring it out of the bag!

    Canon 80D,Canon 100-400 IS II USM,f4.5,1/250,ISO 400 at 100mm

    Nice to see the elephants descending on the slope in their veritable home. Elephant takes abundant caution while climbing down from hill top as its centre of gravity lies in the back bulk. In fact sometimes baby elephants meet with fatal accidents while climbing down. Thanks for sharing. SaktiWild

    Nice to see this. I wanted one with the hill as well. Elephants are very cautious about steep inclines and are known to take the most gentle path. In fact early british surveyors and road builders used the elephant paths to create roads in the hills. Due to the rains we couldn't visit this place. May be next time. Thanks for sharing.
