    Default Osprey Flight

Osprey readily adopts artificial platforms, like bamboo stump used by fisherman, especially where there is a shortage of suitable trees....

Lovely mid-air pose photographed. Good eye contact. The high shutter speed has helped. Is this a crop? Thanks for sharing.

I love the wingspread. A lesser crop would be nice. Many birds perch on bamboo poles planted by fishermen. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,

Excellent pose captured, nice details too. I agree with Sabyasachi, a smaller crop to include more background would have been better, unless you wanted to crop out some unsightly / undesired distractions. Very well captured. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely freeze, what a treat . I am not sure I can see clearly enough, have the feet and white feathers lost a bit of detail in post-processing?

The entire body is getting aligned to the landing stage. Eyes focused on the pole, claws ready to grasp it and the wings spread out for stability and ease of landing. Its a flight landing simulation in action in the birding world, thanks for sharing.
