    Default Tranquil

Accidentally stumbled upon this frame while we were exploring the beautiful temple on top of the hill. The isolated location of the temple, with the unexpected fog covering the whole area, brought in a surreal feeling of serene tranquility and while we were enjoying this I spotted this beauty, probably a Shikra, flying around exploring the area, presumably on a look out for some early morning catch, and after the short flight would end up perched on this tall tree, right in the centre of the temple's ground. The frame of the tree, especially with the alert and cautiously looking out predator, and the fog covered forests in the background, represented a form of tranquility, making me capture the scene

Fog can often impart a dreamy feel to landscapes. The images look monotone in fog. So one needs to look for repeated patterns, symmetry etc to enhance the composition. Did you try a horizontal composition? Thanks for sharing.

Lovely. The shikra on the branch makes the composition more intereting. It would have been a very nice peaceful feeling to enioy the tranquillity of nature away from the maddening city life. Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.
