    A beautiful gift from nature ... resident bird and commonly seen at Grassland .Photo taken from Bosipota , Hooghly , West Bengal , India dated 05-01-2019 .

    These scaly breasted munias are cute birds. They look pretty posing delicately on thin stalks. The image looks like a picture postcard. The way we are clearing up the vegetation, soon we may find only one or two perching places for these birds in an area. I would always love to see deeper depth of field and the habitat of the bird. Thanks for sharing.

    Lovely post-card photograph. Liked the way it has perched so delicately on the single stalk. Agree with Sabyasachi these days in cities we mostly see birds perched on electric wires, fences or walls . Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.
