Thats a cool image. Now that Summer is around the corner, one can find tigers more in water.

Haven't been to bandhavgarh in the last few years due to the terrible tourism rush. It used to be a peaceful place with many tiger sightings and hours of peaceful observation.

The photograph has nicely captured the bonding between the mother and cub. How long was the sighting? My first tiger sighting was in Bandhavgarh. Have some amazing memories of Bandhavgarh . How is the crowd there these days? Thanks for sharing.

Yeah, both mother and cub are in a mood to feel relax during hot summer. Loved to see their bonding too.

Its so amazing to see how nature has painted this frame in similar colors. Green is the only contrast, all else blend in beautifully. Good to see the mother and cub cooling off, with summer temperatures well above 40 degrees tigers spend more time in water. On the contrast leopards irrespective of the weather generally stay away from water. Thanks for sharing, Shyamalaji.

Nice photo of tigers enjoying the water.I think during summer its difficult to find clear water ponds. But the tigers dont mind the muddy stuff!

I don't think the pond was muddy .It is the reflection of the yellow dry grass which makes the water look dirty . The water hole was very fresh and clean .

It was good that you were down near their level for taking the photo, rather than from up high.
