    Default Crimson Backed Sunbird, Goa

Saw this beautiful bird in Goa. The Crimson Backed Sunbird (Leptocoma minima) is endemic to the Western Ghats of India.
Can anyone help me identify the flowers?

Love the bright colours. The pink-violet patches on the throat and the broad red breast band nicely documented. The underside from the breast below is very faint yellow in this case. A slight head turn would have helped to enhance the eye contact further. Thanks for sharing.

This may be Bee balm flower which is not a native of India. Botanical name Monarda didyma, family Lamiaceae.

A part of its protruding tongue is seen in the image. Agree with the previous comments. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,
