Nice calling pose photographed Shyamalaji. Good eye contact. The distinct bluish white iris nicely documented. A more proportional vertical framing would enhance the composition further. How is Mookambika wildlife sanctuary? How were the sightings there? Thanks for sharing.

This is one bird I have to get an image. The curved perch is nice. The yellow colour matches with the background out of focus areas. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,

For me more than the bird is the location which you have visited thats more interesting, Shyamalaji. I have never been there and sadly not heard of it too. Kindly share some details about the place as it would be interesting to know more. Its quite a solace that there are still some places that are not 'popular' which results in a bit of natural habitat maintained by nature. And its a nice picture of the bulbul, however it seems to be a large crop or is it my laptop I am not sure. Thanks for sharing.
