    This herbivore seems to be relishing a discarded antler . Nikon D750 +70-200 F/3.5 ISO400 1/250 Kabini March 2019 .

    Interesting behavior photographed. As Saktida has said its amazing to see how animals make use of what is available in nature to supplement their needs. Thanks for sharing.

    This is a nice record. Cheetals and other cervids do chew on biological matter for nutrients. Unlike us there is no Veg/non-veg classification with animals and birds. They eat whatever is best for them.

    Porcupines also feed on the fallen antlers. Thanks for sharing.

    Rare behaviour dcaptured on cam.It is known that the herbivores eat bones but seeing for the first time.
